ADHD Evaluation & Treatment in Salt Lake City
Compassionate, personalized care for adults and children struggling with attention, focus, and executive function.
Allison Bonham, PMHNP-BC, provides comprehensive ADHD evaluation and medication management at Neurvana. Whether you have suspected ADHD for years or are just starting to explore it, we offer thorough assessment and practical support via secure telehealth for adults throughout Utah.
Adult ADHD is one of the most underdiagnosed conditions I see in my practice. Many of my patients spent decades being told they were lazy, scattered, or just not trying hard enough. They developed elaborate coping systems to get through school and work, and by the time they come to me they are exhausted from the effort it takes to function in a world that was not designed for how their brain works.
What I find most meaningful about treating ADHD is how quickly the right intervention can change someone's life. Not just their productivity, but their self-perception. When a patient finally understands that their brain is wired differently and not broken, and when we find a treatment approach that works for them specifically, the shift can be profound.
ADHD treatment is not one size fits all. Some patients do well with stimulant medication. Others need non-stimulant options due to anxiety, cardiovascular concerns, or personal preference. Many benefit from pairing medication with attention to sleep, nutrition, and nervous system regulation, because all of these factors directly affect focus, impulse control, and emotional regulation. At Neurvana we look at all of it.
